Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Arne is an actor, dancer, writer, and producer.

Best known for freaking out in Fitz and The Tantrums’ video The Walker, he’s danced for Peaches, Margaret Cho, Arcade Fire, Pharrell, Lydia Ainsworth and in Kenzo's fashion film Club Ark Eternal, choreographed by Ryan Heffington. Most recently, he can be spotted in the final season of Justin Simien’s Dear White People, Andrew Dominik’s film Blonde, and starring in Sarah Walk’s video for her cover of Nothing Compares 2 U.

He’s made two short films as a writer/producer, Garbage and The Loneliest Boy Band, which both made their online premiere at NoBudge and were featured on Vulture and Out Magazine. Garbage played festivals in LA, Kansas City, and Nashville and Film School Rejects reviewed it as “A comedic treasure…a smarty, funny, hallucinogenic romp…a thoughtful, emotion-driven, and yes, incredibly hilarious night-in-the-life study.”

He’s worked extensively in experimental theatre and has performed at The Ace Hotel, The Cavern Club, LACMA, Akbar, The Regent, Pieter Performance Space, Highways Performance Space, USC, Human Resources, The Fonda, 18th Street Arts, PAM, LAX Arts, The Sweat Spot, Bootleg Theater, The Machine Project, and The Forum.

He graduated from the Gallatin School at New York University and has since trained at The Sweat Spot, The Groundlings, and with Marjorie Ballentine. He lives in Silver Lake.
